WW2 II Black Crackle Zippo Lighter 3 Barrel 1943-1946 Picture(s) and Description:

The winner of this auction will receive this WW2 era Black Crackle on steel Zippo lighter. These were issued to the US troops from 1943-1946 and features a rounded bottom and corners so they would not stand up on end...lest they should fall over and give away a soldiers position. It has a three barrel hinge, 14 hole chimney, rounded bottom and corners. The hinge is on the weak side and wobbles, but it will snap shut when thumbed open. The initials "BHA" are scratched into the back of it...awesome character trait as it was more than likely the soldier who carried it. There are only traces of the black crackle finish and the steel has a great discolored patina. The insert is original and still throws a spark. You can still make out the logo on the bottoms well as "PAT" from the patent stamp. Getting hard to find these...don't miss out! Shipping will be free to the USA only. I prefer paypal.
