Thank you for visiting this auction; please take a moment to view my other items. I list several new items per week; please keep me as a "favorite seller" NO SHIPPING $$ ON ALL OF MY AUCTIONS...ALWAYS "There is no other vintage lighter on E-Bay that can compare to the quality and eye-appeal of this rare, Italian Zippo!" This Auction; A gorgeous, rare, hand engraved, antique Italian Peruzzi silver (800) lighter from Florence with a Zippo brand insert. Get Up Close With This Lighter; My parents married in 1979. To make ends meet they began to travel the country, buying and selling antiques, gold and silver. They often set up shop in hotels in various cities across the U.S., accumulating a very unique collection of rare coins, jewelry, and other antiquities. This particular lighter has literally remained untouched since 1979. It is in the exact condition my parents acquired it. This unique, ornate, antique silver lighter has an oval emblem on the bottom that reads "Peruzzi SILVER 800 Florence" I do not know exactly when the lighter was made, but from research I think it dates back to the 1940's, and is made in Florence, Italy. I do not know how old the Zippo lighter inside of the case is, but I know that it has been in our family for 35 years and it still has the same insert as the day we bought it. We have never used the lighter. The engraving was done by hand is has sharp detail. The overall condition of this lighter is very good. The hinge and cap work perfectly and snaps shut, just like a lighter should. Inside of this beautiful antique lighter case is a Zippo brand lighter that is in excellent condition. The wick is mostly intact, but shows signs of wear. There is no fluid in the lighter, but I do not think you should have any problems re-fueling and using. In addition to the gorgeous engravings that encompass this lighter; the initials "JS" are neatly engraved on one of the sides. Please examine the 12 pictures I have taken and bid accordingly. I am happy to answer any questions about this item that you may have. doctor_abe81@hotmail.com A stunning, unique, vintage lighter; that will not only make a great addition to your collection, but will also be a great antique investment!
