1942 Black Crackle Zippo Lighter – Wwii – 4 Bbl,14 Hole Picture(s) and Description:
Offered here is a 1942 steel Zippo with a black crackle finish. Four barrel hinge. Rounded bottom and squared edges. 14 hole chimney. Open flint wheel rivet. Old cotton wadding. Marked on the rounded bottom ZIPPO MFG> CO> BRADFORD, PA ZIPPO PAT 2032695 MADE IN USA This is also on the steel insert. Sometimes you can find these WWII Zippos still in their box and unused, but I like the used ones a lot more. You never know where this Zippo was carried. Normandy, Pacific, who knows. In used condition with some finish loss as can be seen in the pictures. The four barrel hinge is strong. One dent to a very corner, but no major dents like some that are used as a hammer. A piece of history from 67 years ago.
